Langara signs provider contracts for ERP project

Langara College is pleased to announce that we have concluded our negotiations with Workday and Deloitte for our new ERP system. We’re now officially moving forward with our chosen provider, Workday, and our implementation partner Deloitte. Through Workday, the College will be able to transition away from inefficient manual processes and streamline many of its daily operations.

Workday was selected because of its student-centred design focus, self-service functionalities for students and staff, consistent and easy to use interface, strong reporting capabilities, and commitment to ongoing product innovation. With Workday’s cloud-based system, Langara will have a modern and flexible technology foundation that will allow it to keep pace with the changing higher education landscape. We’ll be replacing our finance and human resource systems in 2019 followed by our student information system in 2020/2021.

I would like to express my gratitude to the members of our community who were so generous with their time and thoughts during our selection process. Thanks to their input, we are confident we’ve made the right choice. Whether you will be working with the ERP team or maintaining our existing operations, your contributions will be integral to our success over the next few years.

We are now entering the discovery phase of the project. Please stay tuned for further updates.
