Project Scope

Overview

Project scope outlines what features and functionality will come online with each wave of the project. The different parts (or modules) of our Finance, HCM and Student Information systems are listed below for each wave. These modules include both Workday processes and any required integrations with existing tools, software or systems.

What's Not Changing

Many of our existing major systems will not be replaced by Workday, including our learning management system (Brightspace by D2L) and our CRM systems (Eg. Salesforce) If you have a question about whether a specific system or tool will be replaced by Workday, please contact us.

Wave 1A

HCM and Finance

Wave 1 includes our HCM (People and Culture) and Finance systems. This wave of the project will change how staff, faculty and other employees manage their personal administration tasks (submitting a vacation request, accessing a pay statement, etc) as well as any work they do related to finance or human resources (Eg. submitting a purchase requisition, contracting a new employee).
